Begin by selecting neutral items such as white or cream-colored pumpkins, skulls, or bats. These add a subtle Halloween vibe without overpowering your existing decor. Pair them with other neutral accessories that vary in shades so your area does not look too flat.

Next, drape cobwebs along the mantel. The gauze texture of the cobwebs adds another layer to the design. Above the mantel, arrange white bats in a flying formation. I could not find white bats. However, you could easily spray bat black bats white for the same effect.
For a metallic touch add a gold skeleton. This is another super easy DIY where you would spray paint a skeleton gold.

This fun touch immediately adds a eye-catching element to your dining room without being overly dramatic as far as color goes. You could even dress it up with a hat like in the image above.
Further, the tablescape setting seen above has a subtle nod to Halloween with its white candelabras and brown moths. I think this is such a creative idea.
