If you have a similar pantry to mine then you’ve probably struggled with how to organize a pantry with wire shelves. I know the combination of an already small pantry and wire shelves is not ideal but I achieved an aesthetic look.
To create a unified look I made sure to select organizational products that have similar materials and colors to them. In addition, to keeping the labels in a similar style.
Before & After
Before
After
In the before picture, you can see that I tried to organize the pantry primarily with bins and acrylic turn tables. However, the bins easily became disorganized and the pantry began to look cluttered.
In the after image, you can see that I used two baskets, a spice rack, snack organizers, air-tight containers, and a produce bin. This creates designated areas that will help keep the pantry organized and clutter-free.
This post is all about how to organize a small pantry closet.
How To Organize A Pantry Closet
1. Baskets
Baskets are such a great way to maximize space in a small pantry. I used them for backstock and miscellaneous items but you could use them to categorize like items such as baking supplies or snacks.
2. Produce Basket
I think this produce organizer looks great with the white wire shelves since it mimics its material. Plus it has light wood handles for a prettier look. Produce baskets like this are perfect for allowing fruit and vegetable ventilation. As well as creating a zone for them.
3. Spice Rack
I love this spice rack and think it coordinates well with the produce basket. The shelves are wide enough to house oils, vinegar, and syrups too. Further, they were easy to adjust to the width that I needed them to be.
4. Spice Jars
These spice jars are so popular and I see them everywhere. For my pantry, the bamboo lids and labels tie in great with the other items for a cohesive look.
5. Oil Dispenser
I love the style of these oil dispensers with the gold spout. They are durable hand-blown glass bottles that are leakproof. I used the provided labels really like how cohesive they look with the others.
6. Syrup Dispensers
How pretty are these syrup dispensers? The glass detailing adds some fun texture with its raised pattern while blending nicely with the oil dispensers. I used mine for coffee syrups, think they are well made and are leakproof.
7. Airtight Food Containers
Airtight containers are essential. These containers are very thick and well made for the price. All of the libs are interchangeable and have a tight seal. They came with labels but I opted to use a different label set.
8. Snack Organizer
These snack organizers are the best! I love that the dividers can be removed to create the size compartment needed. They are the perfect size for granola bars, individual trial mixes, and popcorn. Also, they have made organizing snacks so much easier to see.
9. Pantry Labels
Labels are one of the best ways to categorize items and make them easy to find. I love these minimalistic labels that go seamlessly with the spice and oil labels.
